Onboarding Coordinator
WB Power Services is the leading critical power specialist providing temporary and standby power solutions, proactive and reactive maintenance, generator sales both new and used and bespoke project installations to customers across the UK. Through a sustained period of growth, we now have a vacancy for a passionate, driven, and proactive Onboarding Coordinator to join our HR department. Your role will lead and deliver new starter inductions through a high quality and comprehensive process.
Working closely with the HR team, as the Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our new starter’s success.
The Role
* Deliver new starter inductions to all UK sites (pool car will be provided) biweekly.
* Deliver presentations to both small and large groups of new starters.
* Send induction emails to new starters to welcome them to their new journey.
* Ensure uniform, PPE and equipment is ordered & set up.
* Confidentially collect new starter details including payroll documents.
* Send all policy and procedural information (employee handbook) to new starters.
* Carry out right-to-work checks for applicants along with DBS check where required.
* Support HR, Training and Recruitment as required.
* Assist new starters throughout their online training.
The Person
* Extensive administration experience required.
* Be able to travel for inductions across the UK.
* Able to prioritise their own workload.
* Confident in delivering presentations to both small and large groups of new starters.
* Confident with communicating via telephone, face-to-face and email.
* Competent in Microsoft applications.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Resilient and tenacious in approach to work.
