Position: Senior Sous Chef
As a Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in continuous coaching and developing your team to be the best they can be whilst driving your restaurant performance and delivering amazing results.
Responsibilities |
* Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feel cared for and listened to, celebrating successes. Prioritise nurturing and developing talent within your team, role modelling a coaching culture within the management team.
* Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation, either through your own efforts or by equipping your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
* Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards in your kitchen. Understand the financial performance of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs, and proactively spot opportunities as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
* Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your Head Chef to recruit and develop staff, fostering personal and professional growth.
* Be a forward-thinking problem solver, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions.

* An experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef leading a kitchen team, driving performance through positive behaviour in a fast-paced environment.

* Proven experience in maintaining high standards in food, health, and safety.
* Experience understanding the financial performance of a kitchen, including gross profit and stock control.
