Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring sound financial management and strategic planning. This role requires someone with experience in managing a small team with good communication skills, attention to detail and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the sales and purchase ;ledger functions to agreed KPI's
* Preparation towards the monthly management accounts
* Daily cashflow reporting
* Monthly journals, accruals and prepayments
* Support the year end process
* Credit checking and agreeing credit limits
* Liaising with suppliers and customers
* Submission of VAT returns UK and French
* Assisting the Head of Finance with daily and ad hoc tasks
* Submission of monthly, quarterly and annual surveys
* Responding to ad hoc finance queries
Skills/Knowledge
* AAT Level 4 Qualification
* Familiar with month end procedures
* Strong Excel Knowledge
