Regional Maintenance Manager- Sports Leisure Fitness Remote/ circa 3 days week travel throughout Warwickshire/Sheffield/Manchester/Cumberland £45,000 car benefits development We are looking for a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee the business administration, compliance and maintenance of 20 multi-faceted sports, leisure and fitness centres from Warwickshire to Sheffield to Cumberland. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, coach and mentor the maintenance teams within the region. Support asset management, including planned and reactive maintenance, budgets and lifecycle planning. Ensure statutory and contract compliance across the region. Provide technical guidance on HVAC, building management systems (BMS) and electro-mechanical plant. Support capital projects and new site openings. Management of maintenance subcontractors and consultants and assessing their performance. Provide guidance on effective energy consumption and management Produce clear reporting and insights on performance, risks and improvement opportunities. Travel around the centres at least 3 days per week The Person: Facilities/building services/ technical/engineering/ maintenance management experience in high-volume customer service orientated facilities like health and fitness, leisure, healthcare, hotels or hospitality. Ideally multi-site experience. Has a trade/relevant technical/building services qualification to provide expertise, guidance and support to the maintenance and centre management teams. Experience in managing contractors and sourcing suppliers. Proficient in using I.T. software for CAFM and BMS systems Ideally energy consumption management experience (although training can be provided). Pool Plant operator/ swimming pool/spa experience is highly desirable, but training could be provided if otherwise very capable. Has a UK driving licence and living within easy reach of at least some of their centres. Prepared to stay away overnight to centres if living further away.
