RG Consultancy are working with an SME in Congleton who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a part time basis. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and provide support with the day to day transactional duties

Role Responsibilities
* Maintaining purchase ledger - reviewing and processing supplier invoices and payments
* Management of expenses and credit cards and processing receipts.
* Investigating and resolving customer account/invoice queries
* Raising sales invoices accurately and efficiently
* Credit control duties - managing customer accounts, chasing payments
* General bookkeeping tasks on Sage 50 and assisting with bank reconciliations and VAT returns and management accounts for multiple businesses
* Supporting Finance Manager and the wider team with any finance-based queries
* Ad hoc administrative duties as required
Person Specification
* Experience using Excel / Sage50 / Synergist
* AAT qualifications or similar would be an advantage but not essential
* VAT legislation
* Competent dealing with multi-currencies
* Payroll experience would be an advantage
