Are you an experienced fire damper engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We're working on behalf of a specialist fire protection contractor to recruit a Fire Damper Working Supervisor – a hybrid role combining hands-on expertise with team leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
About the Company
This well-established and fast-growing contractor delivers compliance-led fire protection solutions to a wide range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, and residential property. With a strong technical background in both active and passive fire protection, the business has built a reputation for professionalism, high standards, and a commitment to safety.
Their in-house teams provide a full suite of services across the fire safety lifecycle – from initial surveys and testing to remedials, installations, and ongoing maintenance. With national coverage and a forward-thinking approach, they are trusted by large organisations to maintain essential fire safety systems to the highest compliance standards.
Now, as demand grows in their passive fire division, they’re looking to appoint a skilled Fire Damper Working Supervisor to oversee field teams and support ongoing contract delivery across the UK.
About the Role
As a Fire Damper Working Supervisor, you will oversee and support field-based operatives in the inspection, testing, and remedial works of fire and smoke dampers across a variety of commercial, residential, healthcare, and public sector buildings. This is a hands-on role – you will be expected to lead by example on-site, ensure works are delivered to industry standards, and provide high-quality service to clients.
You will act as the technical point of contact on-site, coordinate with scheduling teams, and ensure full compliance relevant guidance. A key part of the role involves carrying out remedial works on fire dampers, so demonstrable experience with mechanical repairs and upgrades is essential.
