We're actively seeking a Restaurant & Bar Supervisor for the Hillfield at Pennyhill Park
This role will involve taking responsibility for the smooth running of the department alongside the Restaurant Manager. You will work as part of a team to evaluate, train, and enhance our guests' experience.
Your organizational skills will be essential in working within a large team, overseeing operations at Hillfield Restaurant. Our beautiful location and grounds in Surrey provide a wonderful environment to work in. We aim to offer our guests the best experience, from breakfast to dinner, including buffets and à la carte options.

Role Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate restaurant team activities to maintain standards and ensure excellent customer service.
* Assist in training team members, conducting meetings, and maintaining standards.
* Communicate relevant information within the restaurant and with other departments.
* Promote upselling within the team.
* Assist in managing all restaurant shifts, ensuring adherence to service standards.
* Attend to guest requests and feedback regarding food and beverages.
* Handle and record guest complaints and significant activities during shifts.
* Conduct monthly stock takes for crockery and china.
* Ensure weekly and monthly cleaning routines are followed.
* Complete shift briefings and communicate function sheets daily.
* Maintain the point of sale system and notify relevant managers of updates or issues.
* Assist in managing supplies and requisitions.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Chef de Rang or Supervisor in a similar setting.
* Highly organized with strong knowledge of food, wines, and cheeses.
* Ability to supervise and ensure consistent service quality.
* Understanding of high standards in a luxury environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Motivated to create memorable guest experiences.
