Technical Assurance Lead 21 Month Contract Outside IR35 Remote (3 days per month travel to Jersey) Start: Early April We are seeking a senior Technical Assurance Lead to act as an independent critical friend across a large transformation programme. This role provides structured technical, estimation, and design assurance, ensuring supplier outputs (story sizing, architecture, and Key Design Decisions) are sound, cost-effective, and aligned to programme objectives. Key Focus: Challenge and validate supplier estimates Review technical designs and KDDs Define and embed design quality gates Support commercial inputs (SoWs, change requests, releases) Ensure cross-programme architectural alignment Produce monthly assurance reports and risk summaries Experience Required: Strong technical architecture and integration background Experience with agile estimation and story sizing Ability to translate technical risk into business impact Experience in governance-heavy transformation environments
