We are seeking to recruit three teachers, one of whom will hopefully specialise in English. Our specialist school is looking for qualified teachers who care about unique children and are keen to see them do well, while pushing their limits to succeed.
The Role
As a teacher at Denewood Academy, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide children, collaborating with classrooms and teachers to secure the best outcomes. You will inspire a love of learning and share knowledge and passion with pupils every day. You will treat children with additional needs the same as all other pupils, ensuring equal opportunities and learning alongside mainstream peers.

Qualifications & Skills
* Qualified Teacher Status Desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of educating pupils with special educational needs. Essential
* Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs Essential
* Experience of working with vulnerable pupils and families Essential
* Experience of supporting pupils with sensory needs Desirable
* Experience of using different communication methods including Makaton, PECS, etc Desirable
