Job Description
Purpose of Role
This role is to lead on the technical support, enhancement, and development of the Company’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
This includes the configuration, customisation, and integration of the systems to meet business needs.
Key Job Responsibilities
· Oversee the operation, maintenance, and availability of core business systems.
· Establishing ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation.
· Analyzing existing systems and performing system enhancements.
· Writing customized workflows and scripts, configuring ERP and HRIS systems.
· Developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces.
· Installing and upgrading ERP software and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
· Performing diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize systems performance.
· Providing technical support, documentation and training to ERP and HRIS end-users.
· Support and develop our ERP reporting systems.
· Keeping abreast of the latest ERP upgrades and offerings.
· Managing and maintaining the relationship with external partners and consultants
· Collaborating with senior managers and key systems users to determine requirements and plan accordingly.
· Liaise with the Group IT Manager and/or CFO on ERP and HRIS related procurement.
· Working with other members of the IT Team to ensure systems availability.
· Deliver enhancements and act as the technical lead on business systems upgrades and implementations, applying patches and security enhancements and updates.
· Liaise with senior managers and key users to analyze new or emerging business requirements and make recommendations on systems solutions.
· Oversee data accuracy and integrity across our ERP and HRIS systems.
· Adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications required to perform the role
Knowledge
· In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes.
· A background in business administration, project management, or a related field would be advantageous.

Experience
· At least 5 years’ experience implementing and supporting ERP and HRIS systems.
· Working in a busy multi-site IT Support environment.
· ERP and HRIS support and development experience.
· Experience in identifying and implementing business systems enhancements and upgrades.
· Business Systems Project Management and support, delivering on time and within budget.
* HRIS experience.
· Experience with supplier management.
· Experience of the manufacturing sector would be an advantage.
Qualifications
· Degree in information technology, computer science, business studies or extensive experience in a similar role.
· ITIL – IT service management or any ERP certification (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP or Sage etc.) would be an advantage.
