Job Duties:
* Provide support to students with challenging behaviour in a classroom setting
* Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
* Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment
* Monitor and document student behaviour and progress
* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student behaviour
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with children or young adults with behavioural challenges
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of behaviour management techniques
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Training in behaviour management or special education
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily in a classroom setting
* May involve some physical intervention in case of behavioural escalation
* Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
