About the Role
We are seeking a talented Curriculum Leader of Drama to provide both strategic and operational leadership for the subject. You will play a key role in driving excellence in teaching and learning, ensuring all students benefit from a creative, inclusive, and high-quality Drama education.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the development and delivery of an ambitious Drama curriculum
* Driving high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
* Monitoring student progress and implementing effective interventions
* Line managing, coaching and developing colleagues within the department
* Promoting engagement through enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities
* Contributing to whole-school improvement and curriculum development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Drama
* Experience of delivering excellent outcomes across key stages
* The ability to lead, inspire and develop others
* A commitment to inclusion, high expectations and student success
* Excellent organisational, communication and behaviour management skills
