The Successful Applicant
* A recognised qualification in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work, along with relevant accreditation from a professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP) as detailed below.
* Proven experience in providing psychotherapy or counselling services in a clinical setting.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on active listening.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of mental health legislation and ethical guidelines governing practice.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and training in the field of psychotherapy.
* Registered member of an accrediting body (AP, COSCA, BACP and BABCP) and working towards accreditation.
* Competency evaluated & can carry a full caseload - following an induction period.
* Therapists will be supported towards the goal of achieving accreditation with training and supervision support.
Specific Level 4 Specialist Therapist Requirements:
* Must be accredited with AP (NCAC), or BACP, BABCP, COSCA, (or registered with UKCP or HCPC), or recognised equivalent.
* Specialist Therapists will be training and developing specialisms in problem specific competencies - e.g. CBT, DBT, EMDR, gambling, addiction, eating disorders. psychosocial admissions assessment.
