An exciting opportunity is available for a Neonatal Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team in the Newborn Services Division at Saint Mary’s Managed Clinical Service.
Trainee Advance Clinical Practitioners will be supported with fully funded training to obtain an MSc in Advanced Practice. We are keen to appoint a trainee with previous Neonatal Intensive Care experience and clinical skills who wishes to progress their career in neonatal care.
The successful candidate will receive a robust induction and personal development plan to meet their professional needs, working closely with the ACP and Consultant Body.
The role involves working across the Newborn Services Division, including the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Oxford Road and the Local Neonatal Unit at Wythenshawe. Responsibilities include caring for babies requiring intensive care, high dependency, and special care, as well as within the postnatal ward setting.
This position is pivotal in providing clinical expertise for future care models in Greater Manchester.
Post-training, the role will progress to Band 8a following a period of consolidation.
