Regional Manager Northern Ireland Location: Head Office, Belfast (multi-site across Northern Ireland) The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a portfolio of nursing care homes throughout Northern Ireland. Working closely with the Head of Clinical Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving clinical excellence, quality assurance, and business performance across all homes. This multi-site role requires a strong, compassionate leader with a proven ability to inspire teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver the highest standards of resident care. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Home Managers to ensure outstanding standards of care and operational efficiency across all homes. Oversee quality monitoring, audits, and Reg 29 visits, ensuring compliance with all RQIA and regulatory requirements. Drive business performance, supporting homes to achieve occupancy and financial targets while maintaining excellence in care delivery. Lead on quality improvement initiatives and share best practice across the region. Support the Head of Clinical Operations in implementing strategic objectives and developing clinical governance frameworks. Act as an interim Home Manager where required, ensuring service continuity and stability. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure the right people, systems, and resources are in place. Manage and investigate incidents, complaints, and risk management processes in line with company policy. Represent the organisation with professionalism and integrity at internal and external events. About You You are an accomplished care leader with the confidence, credibility, and compassion to influence and inspire. You bring a track record of improving care standards, achieving compliance, and developing strong, high-performing teams. Your leadership style is hands-on, supportive, and empowering you lead by example and are passionate about delivering person-centred care and operational excellence. Essential Criteria Registered Nurse (NMC) qualification. Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including at least 2 years in a management or regional leadership role within the care home sector. Proven success in driving quality improvement, compliance, and service performance. Strong understanding of RQIA regulations, governance, and best practice in care home management. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel.
