SEND Teaching Assistant Needed – Trimdon Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Teaching Personnel is working with a primary school in Trimdon seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. Location: Trimdon Start Date: September Position: SEND Teaching Assistant Pay: £90-£100 a day About the Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans Help manage behaviour in a calm, consistent, and supportive manner Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Contribute to the overall wellbeing and progress of SEND pupils Requirements: Strong understanding of strategies to support children with diverse needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 TA or equivalent) are desirable but not essential Interested?
