Business Development Executive – Insurance

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and qualify new opportunities within current and new insurance accounts, contributing to the team’s growth goals.
* Guide prospects through the full sales lifecycle—from initial qualification to successful closure—ensuring a smooth and collaborative process.
* Take ownership of your part of the sales process and work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes.
* Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and plans, aligning with broader sector and organisational goals.
* Collaborate with delivery teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and client satisfaction.
* Work toward sales targets that contribute to shared team success, with collaboration from peers and leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in new business sales and delivering business growth within the Insurance sector.
* Background selling cloud infrastructure solutions and services, focused on addressing client needs and delivering value.
* Collaborative team player who builds trust across functions and levels in a matrix environment.
* Strong commercial awareness, including experience with pricing strategies, contract development, and negotiation.
* Comfortable navigating internal processes and governance structures to move opportunities forward efficiently.
* Consultative sales approach, using storytelling, insightful questioning, and the ability to inspire and support others.
Location & Working
London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working: blend of company offices, client sites, and home (not 100% remote).
Additional Information
Security Check (SC) clearance is required, with continuous UK residence for the last 5 years.
