Senior Childcare Lawyer (REMOTE WORKING CONSIDERED) needed, £42.67ph PAYE - Reference: 5291124
Remote working will be considered. Condensed hours will be considered.
Responsibilities
* Drafting, negotiating, and preparing documentation for care proceedings and other childcare matters.
* Providing timely, robust legal advice to senior officers, frontline social workers, and elected members on all aspects of childcare law.
* Managing and conducting public law litigation, including representing the Client at court.
* Instructing counsel and specialist advocates where appropriate.
* Supporting strategic decision-making across the Children’s Services directorate.
* Line managing and mentoring junior lawyers, ensuring quality and compliance.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
