Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for one of our prestigious clients in Swindon, SN3 area.
This is 3 on 3 off shift 10:00-22:00
Salary: £37000 plus 24% shift allowance (£8880) Total salary: £45880 per annum
Main duties will include:
1. Providing Electrical/Mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing & their processes, whilst working in clean rooms, controlled areas adhering to GMP standards at all times.
2. To undertake scheduled PM activities using SAP to ensure the control of spare components & process history.
3. Support to achieve production output standards
4. Maintain Production Machinery
5. Plan Preventative maintenance programs
6. Maintain machine spare parts
7. Advise on technical issues
8. Support CI activities
9. Respond quickly to machine breakdowns
10. Monitor machine performance
11. Support training activities
12. Pre-plan the maintenance activities
13. Ensure sufficient spares are available
14. Analyse & monitor breakdown frequencies
15. Participate in training programs
16. Participate in Risk Assessment programs
Requirements:
17. Experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment (Essential)
18. Experience within medical device or pharmaceutical industry (Desired)
19. Understanding of high-speed automated assembly processes (Essential)
20. Experience of problem solving and fault finding on manufacturing machines (Essential)
21. Ability to work unsupervised (Essential)
22. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization (Essential)
23. Computer literate – Microsoft Office.
24. Qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Plastics processing, either through an apprenticeship or HND/Degree would be an advantage.
