At Represent, we make product launch videos and run YouTube channels for software companies.
I won't lie – software isn't inherently all that exciting for 99% of people. They just want the usual: more, faster, cheaper, automated.
But it can be
We need a scriptwriter who hates corporate videos and elevator music, because that stuff is intellectually lazy and creatively bankrupt.
We want to go 10 layers deep into understanding our audience and product through good old-fashioned research and deep thinking.
While most writers never touched the products they're selling, we work with genuinely curious and obsessive people who dive so deep they can explain quantum computing to a 12-year-old.

•Think about visual hooks beyond just what's being said
PRODUCT DEEP DIVES
•Actually use our clients' software – set up workflows yourself (at least for a few hours)
•Go 10 layers deep into research until you're practically an expert
•Understand audiences well enough to speak their language
