Description The Accounts Payable Assistant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be Hybrid working- 3 days in Cheadle office in Stockport/2 Remote. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager Key duties will include: Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies effectively. Maintain and update accounts payable records and documentation. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Communicate with vendors to address payment queries and resolve issues. Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
