JOB OVERVIEW; Programme Delivery Manager sought by market-leading global supply-chain solutions technology company and systems integrator who provide software, hardware and consumables to multiple industries. You will be part of a true market leading global organisation with over 1200 employees. THE ROLE; As Programme Delivery Manager, you will perform a diverse and challenging but highly rewarding role. Key Responsibilities: Programme Management i.e. overall responsibility for all UK project delivery and professional services revenue recognition Resource Planning & Management Project Management – running your own projects as well as managing the overall programme and delivery (we require a "player-manager") Technical team management– around 14 including the other PMs, Business Analysts and all the developers/software engineers (my client doesn’t currently have a Software Development Manager so you'll need to come from a software background ) Working with ‘off shore’ resources on projects Responsibility for Tier 3 software support team Pre-Sales – you'll perform a key role in putting together the project and professional services elements of proposals and will be expected to play an active role in responding to ITTs (tenders), RFQs etc CANDIDATE PROFILE; 10 years experience of running major projects and a team of technical/software Software solutions background Supply-chain solutions experience a distinct advantage e.g WMS / ERP / SCM / Serialization / Identification, Cloud Ideally from a systems/business analysis and/or programming background Probably degree qualified but not essential A recognised qualification in Project Management Able and willing to work in Maidenhead office 50% of the working week.
