Role - Interim Senior Financial Accountant
Location: Appleton (3 days on-site)Rate: £350-£500 per dayStart: Immediate
The Opportunity
An established asset management business is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the finance function during a period of increased activity. This is a hands-on interim role, ideal for an accountant who can add value quickly within a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
* Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
* Support statutory reporting and audit processes
* Assist with financial controls, policies, and process improvements
* Partner with internal stakeholders to provide accurate financial information
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls
Candidate Profile
* (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong financial accounting background, ideally within asset management or financial services
* Proven experience in interim or contract roles
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
* Able to work independently and hit the ground running
* Comfortable working on-site 3 days per week in Appleton
