Location: York
Pay: £90 – £110 per day
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in York on a full-time, temporary basis. If you’re passionate about education and helping children reach their full potential, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
 *  Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
 * Work one-to-one or in small groups to support pupil learning and development.
 * Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
 * ✏️ Help prepare lesson materials and resources.
 * Provide encouragement, motivation, and pastoral support to pupils.
✅ Requirements:
 * Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable).
 * A patient, supportive, and proactive attitude.
 * Strong communication and teamwork skills.
 * ️ Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
 * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
