I am currently recruiting for a boutique wealth planning firm based in Dorking who I have placed staff into. My client provides a full suite of advice covering Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts and some Protections to clients HNW retirees, families and City professionals across Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and some based in London. My clients funds/assets under management have doubled in the last 12 months due to organic growth - now at c.£170m AUM.
My client are seeking a Financial Planner/Adviser on an employed basis, to take on a role to manage their current book of clients in the region and also an anticipated influx over the coming months. You will be conducting annual reviews, initial meetings with prospective clients and looking to build upon the influx of business that is coming into their so you must have your level 4 diploma and have been advising for 2+ years as a minimum. You ideally be looking to work towards your chartered status, but this is not essential. The Director is seeking to continue working for the next 5 - 7 years but will be looking for a successor and envisages the successful candidate to take a Directorship role and run the business in 5 years time. You must be ambitious, driven, and can see yourself running a boutique IFA business in the future. The Director will look to offer between £60k - £70k, possibly up to £75k for the right person with an attractive benefits package and a career defining opportunity over the coming years where you will have a seat at the table.
