Mobile Electrical Engineer (Commercial)
Location: Tunbridge Wells (Travel across various site in the S.E & London)
Salary: £45,000

The Role
Our client are looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join thier field-based team, covering multiple commercial sites across London and the South East. This is a hands-on role, requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Carrying out both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a variety of commercial sites.
*
Fault-finding, testing, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems and building services equipment.
*
Working with single and three-phase systems, lighting, power, fire alarms, UPS, and related plant.
*
Providing clear and accurate job reporting and ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
*
Supporting clients with technical advice and escalating issues where required.
*
Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota to respond to urgent issues.
What They're Looking For
*
Solid experience in commercial electrical maintenance and fault-finding.
*
Confident working on both modern and traditional electrical plant and systems.
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*
Ability to work efficiently on your own initiative.
*
Comfortable using smart devices and completing digital documentation.
Qualifications & Training
*
City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent).
*
City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition).
*
Completed apprenticeship or comparable training route.
*
Testing & Inspection certification (preferred but not essential).
*
Awareness of building services, BMS, generators, and control systems.
*
IPAF / PASMA beneficial but not required.
