This is an excellent experienced Accountant with solid financial accounting experience who's confident stepping into a fast-paced environment and adding value from day one. Key Responsibility Preparation of period end journals for reporting entities Preparation of analysis and commentary and key account balances for assistance with period end close Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal and external reporting requirements ensuring fit for auditing purposes Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations including period end foreign currency retranslations Preparation and delivery of cost centre decks for reporting to heads of functions to required timescales including commentary on actuals and analysis trackers Assist with year-end statutory account and audit process Assist with corporation tax computations and associated analysis for external tax advisors Assist with preparation of quarterly VAT returns for the Group and trading entities including compliance with all relevant HMRC requirements and payments Completion of confirmation statements for group entities ensuring full compliance with Companies House filing requirements Assistance with employment tax related matters - P11Ds and PSA reporting Support with weekly short term cash flow reporting preparation Support with ad-hoc monthly and quarterly reporting Support with ad-hoc technical and accounting queries If you're available at short notice and looking for your next challenge, please apply.
