Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Desk Setup Installation Technician to assist with the installation and setup of standard office workstations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving kits, placing them on desks, and ensuring proper installation of hardware and peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and inspect installation kits forpleteness and accuracy.
2. Place kits on designated desks and prepare for installation.
3. Install and configure hardware, including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and other peripherals.
4. Ensure proper cable management for a clean and organized setup.
5. Test functionality of installed equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
6. Follow installation guidelines andpany standards for workstation setup.
7. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
8. Provide basic user guidance on workstation functionality if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
9. Experience in hardware installation or IT support preferred.
10. Basic knowledge ofputer peripherals and workstation setup.
11. Attention to detail and ability to follow installation procedures.
12. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting installation issues.
13. Ability to work independently and manage multiple setups efficiently.
14. Goodmunication skills for coordinating with teams and end-users.
