About The Role
In your role as a Painter & Decorator at HC-One, you will undertake painting and decorating duties to present the homes to the highest standards, helping HC-One become the First Choice Care Home in the community. You will maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment to meet the needs of Residents and Colleagues. Flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of the Homes are essential.
You will report immediately to the Home Manager or Person in Charge any illness of an infectious nature or accidents involving Residents, Colleagues, yourself, or others. You must understand and implement the Care Home’s Health and Safety policies, along with Emergency and Fire procedures.

You will ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained, follow health and safety policies, and complete mandatory and specialist training as required to maintain professional competence.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-related training, seeking advice and escalating concerns when necessary.
