Stores Operator / Parts Advisor
Location: Worksop (S80) Salary: Up to £33,550 Hours: 40 hours per week
Hours: MondayThursday 07:3016:30 Friday 07:3014:00 (early finish!)
An established engineering business in Worksop is looking for a proactive Stores Operator / Parts Advisor to join their team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, supporting both customers and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling customer orders and enquiries over the phone
Identifying parts and fulfilling customer requirements
Picking, packing, labelling and dispatching goods
Managing stock control including goods in, storage and inventory checks
Producing shipping documentation and supporting import/export requirements
Picking kits and preparing materials for Production
Maintaining high safety and quality standards
About You:
Experience in a Stores, Warehouse or Parts environment
Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of engineering drawings, parts catalogues or BOMs desirable
Hands-on team player with a proactive approach
