Job Description – IT Teacher (QTS)
As an IT Teacher, you will:
7. Deliver high-quality, engaging computing lessons to middle school pupils (ages 9-13)
8. Teach digital literacy, programming, and IT fundamentals in line with the national curriculum
9. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs
10. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students
11. Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and wellbeing
Candidate Requirements:
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
13. Proven experience teaching IT or Computing in middle schools or KS2/KS3 settings
14. Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
15. Adaptability to different school environments and teaching challenges
16. Passion for inspiring young learners in digital skills and computing
