Job Overview
You will develop and maintain security platforms and tooling, ensuring effective controls are embedded throughout cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines. Working closely with security architects and engineering teams, you will help shape secure delivery across diverse technologies including Azure, AWS and SaaS solutions. You will support integration of security capabilities into development workflows, while actively identifying and resolving vulnerabilities within infrastructure and codebases.
Responsibilities
* Work with Security Architects and colleagues to deliver the security backlog
* Collaborate with solution architects and engineers to ensure secure technical solutions
* Create delivery plans and take ownership of key tasks
* Adapt delivery plans as needed to ensure the secure release of products
* Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in systems and codebases
* Perform regular risk assessments, security testing and vulnerability analysis
* Create clear security documentation and guidelines
* Recommend improvements to security services and controls
* Ensure adherence to information security policies and standards
* Embed automation within deployment pipelines using cloud technologies
* Support secure development through monitoring, guardrails and security tooling integration
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
* 3+ years experience in a similar security engineering role
* Experience working with security tooling / SOC environments
* Hands‑on knowledge of applying Cyber Security controls in development pipelines
* Strong understanding of source control and deployment automation (e.g., GitHub, ADO)
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to identify and implement security controls beyond standard development practices
* Working knowledge of secure coding and compliance standards
* Basic threat modelling and dynamic security testing experience
* Experience with Azure and AWS security configuration
* Experience with security automation
* Knowledge of key security technologies such as IDS, SIEM/SOAR, email gateways, WAFs and vulnerability management tools
* Experience with SIEM platforms, including ELK stack
