What You'll Do
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to define key metrics (KPIs) and translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical requirements.
* Analyse the end-to-end customer journey to understand user behaviour, acquisition, engagement, and retention.

* Analyse key marketplace dynamics, including the balance between lawyer supply and client demand, and conduct pricing analysis to determine elasticity and recommend effective pricing strategies.
* Develop and maintain core data models, dashboards, and reports that serve as a single source of truth for key business metrics.
* Work with a modern analytics stack, including tools for data warehousing (BigQuery), transformation (dbt), and business intelligence (Hex).
* Conduct proactive and ad-hoc investigations into user behaviour, identifying key trends, opportunities, and potential issues.
* Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in our customer funnels and partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
* Using and evolving reporting, CRM, marketing, tagging and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads,, Hex, Tag Manager, Posthog, Meta).
* Champion data quality and governance by developing documentation, setting standards, and implementing processes to ensure our analytical data is accurate, available, and trustworthy.
* Act as the analytical lead for our marketing testing program; you will inform the CRO strategy and A/B testing roadmap by sizing opportunities.
* Analyse and guide experiments across landing pages, acquisition funnels, and lifecycle campaigns to achieve statistical significance and clear results.
* Partner with Marketing and Product to ensure all requirements for robust tracking and measurement are implemented correctly.
* Champion a culture of rapid, data-driven experimentation, helping us scale our testing velocity and optimization processes.
About You
* 3-5+ years in a data analytics / data science role.
* Strong proficiency with SQL for complex data querying and manipulation.
* A proven track record of using data to drive tangible business outcomes and inform strategy.
* Experience working with data from a variety of sources, such as web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, PostHog, mixpanel), CRM, and advertising platforms (e.g., Google/Meta Ads).
* Exceptional attention to detail and rigour in how you approach analytical analysing and verifying data.
* Experience with tracking tools (GA4, PostHog/Mixpanel/Amplitude)
* Proven ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a rigorous approach to your analysis.
* Proficiency with BI and reporting tools (i.e. Hex, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
* Analytical mindset. You are comfortable drawing conclusions and making recommendations from data insights to move the business forward.
* Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
Bonus points
* Hands-on experience with dbt.
* Programming experience (Javascript, Python) or experience using data engineering tools
* Background in a consumer marketplace or another fast-growth startup.
* Experience helping to build a company's data analytics function from an early stage.
