The business are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to bolster their engineering department. This role will suit an experienced manufacturing engineer with experience of maintaining manufacturing processes, project activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Role & Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings to identify current and new processes required for efficient manufacture of products to customer specifications Creation of CNC programs for new and existing products using CADCAM software packages and ISO code writing Design of jigs, fixtures and tooling for efficient manufacture of components Using customer and internal CAD data to create Bill of Material, production routing, finishing and packaging requirements. Accurately enter this data onto the ERP system Interpret engineering drawings to identify current and new processes required for efficient manufacture of products to customer specifications Interface with the sales and production departments to ensure projects are completed to achieve customer satisfaction and on time delivery Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with all relevant industry standards and Customer requirements Collaborate with the quality department in response to any customer concerns, follow the 8D process of containment and implementation of corrective and preventative actions Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
