Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is excited to announce an opportunity for a Pregnancy Loss Lead Midwife to join our maternity team.
This role offers an essential service for women, their families, and staff at Frimley Park Hospital. It will be a job share with the current post holder, 18.75 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
As The Pregnancy Loss Lead You Will
1. Act as a clinical specialist providing information and support to families experiencing fetal loss or childbirth-related difficulties.
2. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including Fetal Medicine, Mental Health, and Perinatal Pathology to provide seamless care.
3. Provide guidance and support to midwifery, nursing, and medical staff caring for women experiencing pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or neonatal death.
4. Serve as an educational resource on bereavement care for staff, providing training and support on related issues.

Qualifications
* Essential: Registered Midwife
* Desirable: Leadership/management training
Experience
* Essential: Experience in dealing with bereaved parents and as a Band 6 Registered Midwife
Skills and Knowledge
* Awareness of national and local healthcare goals
* Completed preceptorship
