About The Role

At AO, our Delivery Drivers team up with a Driver’s Mate to deliver appliances safely, efficiently, and with the exceptional customer service we’re known for.
What’s in it for you:
1. £13.00-£15.00 per hour
2. Average 42 hours per week, working a 5 on / 3 off shift pattern
3. Overtime available
4. Full AO training and uniform provided
5. Permanent, full‑time contract
6. Base Location: Unit 1, Middleton Avenue, Strutherhill Industrial Estate, Larkhall, ML9 2UN
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
7. Deliver heavy white‑goods into customers’ homes
8. Drive a 3.5‑tonne AO vehicle from customer to customer
9. Use a sack barrow and follow AO manual‑handling guidelines
10. Work safely and follow all AO Health & Safety procedures
11. Report any accidents, damages, or product issues
12. Work closely with your AO Driver’s Mate to deliver a brilliant service
A Few Things About You
You’ll need:
13. A standard UK photo‑card driving licence held for 12 months or more
14. To be 21+
15. No more than 6 points on your licence
16. No criminal convictions
17. A passion for driving and giving customers the best AO experience
18. A positive attitude and a great AO smile
