SEN Teacher
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teacher to join an Alternative Provision in Andover, working as part of a dedicated and experienced team. The school offers a nurturing environment where young people are respected, listened to, and supported to re-engage with their education.
The provision is keen to hear from teachers across all subject areas. What matters most is your ability to inspire learners, adapt lessons to individual needs, and build strong, positive relationships with young people who may have experienced barriers to learning.
As a Teacher in this Alternative Provision, no two days will be the same. You’ll follow a flexible structure, delivering bespoke educational and therapeutic approaches that are designed to help each student thrive both academically and personally.

1. Location – Andover, Hampshire
2. Position – SEN Teacher
3. Type of work – Key Stage 3 and 4
4. Contract or position start date – ASAP
5. Contract or position end date (if applicable) – Ongoing
6. Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temp to Perm
7. Full time/part time – Full time
8. Minimum rate of pay – £168 a day
9. Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings
Experience, Training and Qualifications
10. QTS or equivalent
11. Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
12. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
13. Hold Right to Work in the UK
14. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
15. Provide two professional child related references
