This is a full-time role within the Key Stage 1 team, starting in September 2025, and offers the successful candidate an opportunity to make a meaningful difference from the very start of their teaching career. About the School: A specialist setting that supports children with Sensory Needs, Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). Small, well-structured classes with a maximum of 10 pupils per class, supported by two experienced Teaching Assistants. A nurturing, inclusive environment that prioritises pupil wellbeing and personal development alongside academic progress.About the Role: Full-time ECT role within a KS1 SEN class. Plan, deliver and assess tailored lessons that meet individual needs. Work closely with support staff to implement EHCPs and deliver individualised learning programmes. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and external professionals.The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a qualified ECT with recent placement or teaching experience in a SEN or inclusive setting. Have a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach.
