The Role
This is a dynamic, community-based and mobile role where you’ll work directly with individuals to help them secure and sustain paid employment. You’ll travel across your region, meeting participants, employers and partners in a variety of settings including community venues, healthcare environments and workplaces.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of participants and supporting them on their journey into work
* Understanding individual strengths, goals and barriers through regular meetings
* Creating tailored vocational profiles and action plans
* Providing practical support with CV writing, job searching and interview preparation
* Delivering ongoing in-work support to ensure long-term success
* Building relationships with local employers to identify suitable opportunities
* Promoting inclusive recruitment and advising on workplace adjustments
* Collaborating with health services, local authorities and community organisations
* Maintaining accurate records and tracking performance outcomes
Your focus will be on helping individuals move into employment quickly, with the right support in place to thrive.
Ideal Candidate
You’ll bring a passion for supporting others alongside strong organisational and communication skills.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working in a caseload or target-driven environment supporting customers or clients
* Builds strong, trusting relationships with a wide range of people
* Is confident engaging with employers and external partners
* Can manage a busy workload and stay organised
* Works well independently while contributing to a team
* Has solid IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
* Believes in people’s potential and is motivated to help others succeed
A clinical background is not required, full training in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model will be provided.
