Senior Social Media Account Executive / Manager

£30-35k

Are you an experienced Social Media Account Executive or Manager looking to work for one of the Midlands’ top integrated agencies who really value their employees? Our client, an award-winning full-service agency, are on the lookout for a Senior Social Media Account Executive to join their Social team and support their Head of Social and Social Account Directors where you will oversee, manage and create content for the agency and all of their clients. This agency has a brilliant culture and ethos and focus on developing careers from within. This is a permanent full-time role, benefitting from hybrid working of 3 days in the office based just outside of Coventry. The salary is up to c. £35k DOE.

With a broad range of clients across fashion, retail, housing and automotive, this ever-growing and collaborative agency, is on the lookout for a new team member to join their warm and welcoming social team where hard-work, creativity, and social fit are of equal importance.


The Role

You will be part of the social team delivering the agency’s brands on social, planning and scheduling content as well as actively managing the community. With a focus on organic social content creation across a wide array of social channels, you will have an eye for creative content, copy, and excellent attention to detail and not be scared to be in front of the screen, creating content that showcases their agency and culture as well as being hands on creating video content for their clients.


• You will be involved in the organic social media strategy and management, working closely with their paid media team, understanding what works well across both organic and paid social.


• From a content creation perspective, you have full responsibility from ideation to producing creative content, it is therefore important that you are comfortable and confident in recording content on your phone, both for the agencies’ own socials as well as for their clients, travelling to shoots.


• You have basic to good video editing experience (ideally in Premier Pro, but not essential).


• The role will also include research and analysis of social media trends, including social media analytics and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and you will have direct client contact and therefore, good communication skills are essential to the role.


• You will work with other social media team members, including copywriters and other creatives, collaborating with them, overseeing their work, and offering guidance or direction.


•You will be responsible for auditing and analysing social media presences, through monthly and quarterly reports as well as analysing social media campaigns with tracking systems and dashboards to gather visitor data, determining efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.


About You:

You will ideally have worked within an agency environment (desirable, but not essential) and have around 3-5 years’ experience creating social media content.


• Confident and creative content creator, proficient in shooting content (on phone) and

experienced in editing in-app/Premiere Pro (or similar programme).

• Ability to think strategically and a solid understanding of social media strategy.

• Creative, with a strong eye for content creation and what makes a social post engaging.

• Confident at being in front of camera and presenting.

• Familiarity with InDesign or Photoshop.

• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X,

Threads) and possibly YouTube channels.

• Meta Business Suite/Hootsuite/Scheduling + social listening tools.

• Ability to own projects, write briefs, hit deadlines and deliver work to a high standard.


You have a passion for learning and embrace new developments in social media marketing and are looking at new trends.


You love the combination of job ownership and autonomy, whilst being able to bounce off and learn from a nurturing and collaborative team
