A primary school in Southport is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team.
About the Role As a key member of the EYFS setting, you will:
* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
* Assist in planning and implementing engaging learning activities.
* Foster a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children.
* Observe and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
Requirements We're looking for someone who:
* Holds a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
* Has experience working in a nursery or reception class.
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
* Is patient, proactive, and passionate about early childhood development.
* Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
