Overview: Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store whilst getting stuck in yourself to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves. Often, you get to run a full store operation on your own overnight being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store. Making sure that standards are brilliant come morning so we're ready to serve our customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead overnight replenishment and store operations, prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* Run a full store operation on your own overnight, responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store.
* Maintain high standards in the store so that it is ready to serve customers in the morning.
* Lead people management including performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay accuracy.
* Lead operations and, when necessary, operate in the absence of more senior management.
* Provide brilliant customer service and coach a team to do the same.
* Deliver and monitor KPIs or other performance indicators.
* Manage disciplinaries, performance issues, or other employee relations matters.
* Pursue inclusivity and foster a safe, healthy environment for the team during night shifts.
* Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, motivating others, driving performance and keeping operations running smoothly.
Qualifications and experience
* Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Resilience to deal with the mental and physical demands of working nights.
* Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement).
* Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
* Desirable: experience working night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment and adapting to the physical and mental demands of overnight working.
