Location: Wellington
Hours: 42.5 per week
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Welder to join the team in a finishing role. You will be responsible for ensuring products are completed to a high standard before dispatch. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform finishing tasks including sanding, trimming, polishing, cleaning and surface preparation
* Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
* Safely operate hand tools, power tools and finishing equipment
* Work to production schedules and meet daily targets
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
* Complete quality checks and production documentation
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in manufacturing or finishing is advantageous, but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good hand–eye coordination xsngvjr and confidence using tools
* Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
* Reliable, punctual and a team player
* Own transport required due to location and working hours
