Unit Catering Supervisor at Cribden House Special school. (Grade 4) 30hrs a week, 7.45am to 1.45pm daily .Term time only. Mon to fri.
Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service
You will work as part of a team in Lancaster Road primary School Morecambe. Supervising the running of the kitchen and staff and providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.
Key responsibilities:
1. Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans
2. Direct and/or supervise other employees
3. Order supplies and store deliveries
4. Maintain records and stock control
5. Maintain agreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchen hygiene
What we are looking for:
6. Experience of large-scale catering
7. Knowledge of food service and catering in general
8. Organizational, cost control and supervisory skills
9. Recognized supervisor or team leader qualification would be desirable
Working Hours/Days:
10. Monday to Friday
11. Term time only
12. 30 hours per week, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake
