Overview
Role: Technical Production Supervisor
Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours: Monday to Friday - Full time hours
Capacity of role: Permanent position
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Responsibilities
* Manage all technical aspects of the production process, inclusive of all of the machines and equipment
* Solve component machining issues as and when necessary with the assistance of the team
* Assist and work closely with the Production Supervisor in motivate and driving forward the Department to meet the output requirements.
* Provide technical training to any and all members
* Liaise with production control on the requirements of the department.
* Assist service engineer visits for the equipment
* Investigate and where possible offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions
* Drive forward improvements to completion
* Assist production when necessary to maintain production output.
* Provide assistance as and when required to any and all members
Candidate Attributes
* Technically competent with Machines and Equipment.
* Experience of working with a Production team in a 24/7, or at the very least, a shift type manufacturing environment.
* At least 5-10 years' experience of working in a high output production environment.
* Excellent mechanical aptitude and be able to solve Technical issues which may be encountered with Lathe Machines and Equipment.
* Familiar with ISO 9001:2015, organised and most importantly, be willing to go the extra mile.
* Required to work outside of normal working hours to spend time with each shift on a regular basis.
