At BMS, we've been engaged to recruit a Client Manager for a globally recognised legal and professional information provider. With multiple hires due to growth and internal promotion, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing account management team within a £9bn global group.

Our client is a world-leading provider of legal, regulatory, and compliance technology, supporting organisations in over 150 countries.
Their solutions include legal research databases, AI-powered drafting tools, compliance guidance platforms, and tax intelligence feeds used by law firms and in-house legal teams across every sector.
Part of a global PLC with revenues exceeding £9bn that employs over 11,000 people worldwide. Despite its scale, the sales culture is highly structured and supportive, with best-in-class enablement tools including Gong and Salesforce.
This is a business known for developing talent - several current Heads of Sales began their careers in this very role.
The Role
4. As a Client Manager, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 150 existing accounts worth around £1m in annual revenue.
5. 100% existing business - focused on retention, growth, and proactive account development.
6. Sell legal research, compliance, and AI-enabled software solutions.
7. Engage senior stakeholders including Partners, General Counsel, CIOs and CEOs.
8. Identify growth opportunities and mitigate churn (c.11% accepted churn rate).
9. Average order values between £5K-£18K.
10. Growth target of approximately 20% across your territory.
11. Proactive pipeline management and structured activity metrics are key KPIs.
This is a consultative, value-based account management role focused on protecting revenue while driving strategic expansion.
The Candidate
We're looking for a structured, organised B2B salesperson who has:
12. 1+ year of B2B sales experience (SaaS, recruitment, tech, services or similar).
13. Experience in account management or retention-focused roles (desirable).
14. An understanding of discovery and value-based selling principles.
15. Strong listening skills and the ability to engage senior legal stakeholders.
16. High learning agility - coachable, open-minded, and ambitious.
17. Strong time management and pipeline discipline.

18. Basic Salary: £30,000
