 
        Join Coinford, a leading name in groundworks and concrete frame construction. We’re seeking Groundworkers with experience in deep drainage, service installation, and pad foundation works. Key Responsibilities Drainage & Services Installation Install concrete, clay, and plastic drainage pipes of various sizes, ensuring correct line, level, bedding, and testing. Safely work around and install live and new services, following service avoidance procedures. Construct, bench, and finish manholes and inspection chambers to specification. Pad Foundations & Groundworks Excavate, prepare, and construct pad foundations accurately to drawing and specification. Carry out sub-base preparation, levelling, and compaction to required tolerances. Operate dumpers and rollers safely and efficiently to support groundwork operations. Assist with cut and fill, muck shifting, and general site preparation as required. Technical & Site Safety Read and interpret drawings, setting-out information, and site levels confidently. Conduct daily pre-start and plant safety checks, reporting issues promptly to site management. Work in full compliance with site health, safety, and environmental procedures. Support the delivery of high-quality work to programme deadlines. Essential Requirements Valid CSCS card (operative or above). Proven experience in drainage, service installation, and pad foundation works. Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) ticket for Dumper or Roller operation. Competent in reading and understanding drawings and levels. Reliable, proactive, and capable of managing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision. Desirable Additional CPCS/NPORS* qualifications (e.g., Telehandler, 360 Excavator). 5 years’ experience in civil groundworks or infrastructure projects. Experience working as part of small, self-managed teams or gangs. General Expectations Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach. Able to work collaboratively with other trades and site personnel. Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK.
