Salary: Grade 2 - £8,950 per year
Location Operational Transport Plot 21 Midland Road, Scunthorpe
Hours: 14 hours per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

The Vacancy
We are currently seeking a Meals on Wheels Driver to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover adoption leave. This role involves collecting meals and delivering them to service users in their own homes across the North Lincolnshire area at scheduled times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect and deliver meals promptly and safely.
* Support service users by assisting with dishing out meals if required.
* Communicate with empathy and respect, ensuring a positive experience for all service users.
* Report any concerns about service users to your Line Manager.
* Handle cash collections and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
Requirements:
* A current, valid driving licence.
* Experience driving various types of vehicles, including small vans.
* Willingness to undertake a driving assessment as part of the selection process (must present a valid licence on the day).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Commitment to completing all required training for the role.
