An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified RMN or RNLD to become the Registered Manager of a well-established, independent mental health hospital in Mold, North Wales.
The hospital supports up to 20 patients, including detained individuals under the Mental Health Act, and is set on acres of peaceful countryside
Key responsibilities of a Hospital Manager;
Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the hospital
Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act, HIW, and other regulatory bodies
Oversee the care and safety of detained patients
Manage staff performance, development, and team morale
Ensure high standards of clinical governance, patient care, and safeguarding
Contribute to action plans from inspections and ongoing quality improvements
Work closely with senior clinical and psychology teams
Support planning and preparation for an exciting new build project
Key requirements a Hospital Manager must have:
Registered Nurse – RMN or RNLD
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
2+ years in a hospital management role
Strong understanding of mental health law and regulatory frameworks
Confident working with detained patients
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage audits, trackers, and governance systems
