Job Title: Apprentice - HR (Learning & Development) Location: Southend Role Type: 4 year apprenticeship Job Summary: As a HR (Learning & Development) Apprentice at Honeywell, in Southend, you will you will be allocated an experienced mentor within HR to train and expose you to a wide variety of HR areas, including Employee Relations and Management Support, with a focus on Learning and Development. You will have the opportunity to gain a range of nationally recognised qualifications and a hands-on learning experience within our supportive and friendly teams. This role is part of our Early Careers Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This apprenticeship is set up for four years, starting from August 2026. This apprenticeship is a mixture of academic and practical onsite learning. You will work closely with an experienced HR Mentor to gain hands-on experience within a friendly and supportive team to be trained to achieve the following: Provide HR support to manufacturing teams, addressing employee inquiries, concerns and learning and development needs Assist in the development and implementation of learning and development documentation tailored to the manufacturing environment Collaborate with management to support on a range of employee relation matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, with a focus on learning and development Key skills and qualifications: Experience working in MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), (this could be from your personal life, a workplace or your studies) A passion for people A minimum of GCSE a C / level 4 grade in maths and English Can commute with ease to the Southend office Business level English written and spoken language skills Full and permanent right to work in the UK Our offer: Career Growth: Clear pathways for advancement, regular feedback, and mentorship opportunities.
